Endowment Fund
Starting in 1999 and running for four years the Ontario Arts Council Foundation established an Endowment Fund to assist arts organizations such as ours. Deposits to the endowment were matched dollar for dollar, to be used by the Festival to assist with its long term financial planning. At the end of the program, the Festival had created an endowment fund of $90,000. While the Festival cannot use the principle, the interest income will be used to ensure the Festival Scholarship is funded for the coming years.
